Korp and the Thinker
Part One
by Orly Castro A.
KORP fights against destiny in search of true glory and, in that battle, wrests two powerful forces from it: Love and freedom. These two forces help him overcome the terrible bullying experience he suffers from time after time, from childhood until he reaches university; this bitter experience has systematically erased his conscience.
Having no conscience, he builds a parallel reality where he exists. In that place, the warrior meets his most – trusted colleague. With his help, KORP creates a powerful empire out of love for the only being he has ever loved in the universe, Kate.
However, once he becomes Emperor, he cannot maintain the glory he has as a king, so once again, another equally lethal force – vanity – ensnares him. This powerful force locks him up for many years in an abyss of confusion, whose consequences are fatal for both him and his empire. Despite his confusion in this abysmal confinement, he continues to strive for governance. Along the way he gets into more trouble, thus creating new enemies and one in particular – Origin – whom he declares war on and considers his worst enemy. KORP is so sure he will defeat Him.
Paradoxically, his worst enemy rescues him from the abyss of vanity. Being free: destiny, freedom, love, and Origin offers him a new opportunity to go further. This time, another force greater than bullying and vanity gets in the middle. It prevents him from going further: his pride is too immense. Is he ever going to defeat it?
